Psalm 37

Psalm 37

Of David.

Do not fret because of those who are evil
    or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
    like green plants they will soon die away.

Trust in the Lord and do good;
    dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.

Be still before the Lord
    and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
    do not fret—it leads only to evil.
For those who are evil will be destroyed,
    but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
    though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
    and enjoy peace and prosperity.

12 The wicked plot against the righteous
    and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
    for he knows their day is coming.

14 The wicked draw the sword
    and bend the bow
to bring down the poor and needy,
    to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
    and their bows will be broken.

16 Better the little that the righteous have
    than the wealth of many wicked;
17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
    but the Lord upholds the righteous.

18 The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care,
    and their inheritance will endure forever.
19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
    in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

20 But the wicked will perish:
    Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field,
    they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.

21 The wicked borrow and do not repay,
    but the righteous give generously;
22 those the Lord blesses will inherit the land,
    but those he curses will be destroyed.

23 The Lord makes firm the steps
    of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
    for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

25 I was young and now I am old,
    yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
    or their children begging bread.
26 They are always generous and lend freely;
    their children will be a blessing.[b]

27 Turn from evil and do good;
    then you will dwell in the land forever.
28 For the Lord loves the just
    and will not forsake his faithful ones.

Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed[c];
    the offspring of the wicked will perish.
29 The righteous will inherit the land
    and dwell in it forever.

30 The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom,
    and their tongues speak what is just.
31 The law of their God is in their hearts;
    their feet do not slip.

32 The wicked lie in wait for the righteous,
    intent on putting them to death;
33 but the Lord will not leave them in the power of the wicked
    or let them be condemned when brought to trial.

34 Hope in the Lord
    and keep his way.
He will exalt you to inherit the land;
    when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it.

35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
    flourishing like a luxuriant native tree,
36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
    though I looked for him, he could not be found.

37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
    a future awaits those who seek peace.[d]
38 But all sinners will be destroyed;
    there will be no future[e] for the wicked.

39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
    he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
40 The Lord helps them and delivers them;
    he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
    because they take refuge in him.

New Poem by AMABEYOND “Good Spiritual Posture”

Multifaceted, to say the least. AMABEYOND, African born, global Muringa Music Artist released a poem today entitled Good Spiritual Posture. It’s brilliant, and is accompanied by the healing energy of the Green Tourmaline stone.

Green Tourmaline, also known as Verdelite, is perhaps Nature’s best healing crystal of the physical heart, channeling its electrical energies into the center of one’s being, and creating a flow of wholesome energy to all parts of the body and self.

Good Spiritual Posture touches on numerous feelings, and obviously invites a natural collision in time with the reader, allowing individual interpretation and communion.

It seems to speak of a being who is noticing that it is in the first moment of a desired difference within it’s total existence.  “I woke up yesterday, Yesterday I woke up.” The poem goes on to speak of one’s natural inclination to immediately go back to harmful patterns, ways, and people who have been successfully escaped or transformed.

It suggests that this inclination, within spiritually conscious entities, is due to the underlying understanding that all past experiences were divine gifts, necessary to give rise to a desire that comprises the space of one’s “next” dwelling place, which is full of the next past – that will eventually become perceived as having been divinely necessary.

The poem suggests that the fact that change is, seems to be the tangible difference, dwelling place, and neutralizer of all of the voices of then which no longer speak, with effective authority, inside of the now.  Instead, they enter a novel position and function of eternal servitude and offering.

Good Spiritual Posture also speaks of how much time is actually spent in a moment or era, and how the present moment is essentially neither judged, quantified, or fully used/experienced, until it has passed, thereby being wholly and eternally purposed in its completion.

A nutrient for the soul, poetry is the first cousin of music, and we celebrate artists who embrace numerous forms of expression. AMABEYOND’s poem is full of depth, meaning, and induces an overall beautiful and unique feeling. Today is the New Year in Muringa Culture! Happy African New Year!

Today marks the beginning of a new year in Muringa culture, an African, spiritual healing sub-culture stemming from a fusion of traditional African and New-Age spiritual experiences and moving African consciousness through the vehicle of Art and Muringa Music spaces. Muringa Music is a genre of music cultivated globally, and ultimately named in Zimbabwe, after the Moringa Tree, a phenomenally nutrient – dense, miracle tree abundant in Africa.

So Happy New Year! Congratulations! Certainly, there is reason to celebrate as a long-time cosmic victory has ushered in a particular, internal access to trans-dimensional lightness and newness. This new experience of old energy is being introduced and unveiled in the sacred ingredients of today.

This New Year begins with the successful completion of a long and arduous spiritual, space-cultivation journey.  This is a space that is capable of housing novel expressions of vehemently transformed dark energies, and arises out of a decision to integrate the lightest and darkest aspect of existence, One’s existence.

In doing so, powerful vibrations of gratitude for the deepest trauma have been activated as the boundaries of one’s self-concept have finally expanded enough for the successful destruction of a protective, “positive-self” illusion, lovingly illuminating the reality.

This revelation period is right on time as the capacity to survive the reality of One’s Self, and the faith to await transformation of the “total darkness within” into light, through witness and intention, – has been achieved! We’ll say it again, Happy New Year! The Heart is now seen as good through the Oneness Within’s collective decision for all useless and painful energies or thought forms to 1) Be experienced during the period of Halloween or “The Day of the Dead” 2) To be thanked 3) To be naturally judged 4) to discontinue in their manifested form, as a sacrifice to Oneness/The Heart, in order for The Asking – To Be.

All energies, particularly the darkest energy, has agreed to accept the opportunity to change, through the ancient anchor, and beacon of truth, Love. Rest assured that it will no longer be as was, and instead has re-incarnated as is, into this wonderfully new space, life, and sight.

Effects of this shift will vary, though expect the following;

  • Inexplicable aches and pains to no longer manifest.
  • Addictions to naturally fade
  • Healthy eating to inspire
  • Prioritization of time for observing and experiencing wellness and togetherness to ensue
  • Perception of success, peace, and unbiased, whole-self  expression
  • Attraction of consciously appreciated and enjoyed individuals and increased self-appreciation
  • Discovery of inner spiritual gifts, heightened connection with love

It all goes down today. That’s right, fresh, fun, and eclectic vibes are sure to be had as visual artist, Kudzanai Chiurai, launches his very first solo exhibition in his home country of Zimbabwe, entitled “We Need New Names.”

Present, and in support of this fine art and music fusion will be Chimurenga, a pan African platform of writing, art, and politics founded by Ntone Edjabe in 2002. Known for effectively collecting and illuminating numerous voices from across Africa and the diaspora, Chimurenga  operates as a cutting edge platform for African oriented, liberated ideologies and political reflections.

Chimurenga produces a journal of culture, art, and politics of the same name (Chimurenga Magazine); a quarterly broadsheet called The Chronic; The Chimurenga Library – an online resource of collected independent pan-African periodicals and personal books; the African Cities Reader – a biennial publication of urban life, Africa-style; and the Pan African Space Station (PASS) – an online radio station and pop-up studio. PASS will be present and broadcasting live at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe from the 9th of November to the 12th.

PASS ensured that their programming will dive deep into the role music is playing in the cultivation and channeling of the Zimbabwean voice. “Looking into the inventions of Zimbabwe, the programming will examine music as the paradigm through which the country and region’s political history is told and archived. “Whatever Zimbabwe is, and is becoming, already exists in the sound-worlds produced in the region. PASS in Harare will invite musicians, artists, writers, cultural producers and rebels based in Harare and beyond in studio to uncover these worlds. “

ZARTS LAUNCH

Saturday night, the 4th of November served as Bumris Enternainment’s launch and press conference for a brand new festival, “Zimbabwean Arts Festival 2017” aka ZARTS. The event was held at a new, eclectic café called “The Sanctuary Café and Wine Bar” located inside of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. The event invited press and artists alike to discuss festival features as well as enjoy performance teasers from Artists who will be

This festival is spearheaded and founded by the owner of Bumris Entertainment, Miss Rumbi Mudenge, and will be taking place at the Alexandra Sports Club on the 8th and 9th of December. The festival will incorporate Zimbabwean superstars such as Ammara Brown, Jah Praizer, Oliver Mtukudzi, Sulumani Chimbetu, and Winki D. ZARTS, says Mudenge, has been birthed as an emphatic motion to shift the Zimbabwean art consumer towards cultivating an appreciation and a participation of art created by Zimbabweans. Rumbi points out that there is a disturbing idea that has manifested in all aspects of the Zimbabwean music industry that external, international art is, for some reason, more valuable than art created right here in Zimbabwe. Promoters often spend more money bringing external artists into the country than promoting raw Zimbabwean talent that has obvious potential for global success. Generally, internal artists experience insulting offers from Zimbabwean event coordinators and promoters alike, who know the financial challenges that all Zimbabweans are facing in this day and age.

With Rumbi having announced exciting projects in the pipeline, such as producing Ammara Brown’s next music video “Crystal Blue Moon” from her coming album, and eventually creating an “African Arts Festival” Bumbris entertainment is establishing itself as a force and ally in the effort to meet Africa’s potential within the Arts industry. BUMRIS Entertainment’s mission is to create believers out of Zimbabweans, and most importantly, to connect the hearts of the artists to that of those art consumers who occupy their immediate environment.
Throughout the press conference, Rumbi expressed her passion for honoring breathtaking Artists who are making waves and flourishing in the dynamic underground Zimbabwean Art scenes. Though the entire nation may not yet be aware of their presence, those who experience these Artists are always left in genuine awe. BUMRIS Entertainment believes in the energy of the African underground scene and promises that the Zimbabwean Arts Festival will incorporate such emerging jewels as Muringa Music singers LoveDale Makalanga and AMABEYOND, two supernova underground Zimbabwean Artists, undoubtedly on their way to the heights of history.

With over 17 years in the music industry and hits with his old, beloved band, “Mafriq,” LoveDale Makalanga, (aka Dischord Mafriq) has evolved into a diverse solo artist, producer, singer and entrepreneur, who is determined to preserve Zimbabwean culture and release the heart of the African spirit. With Vadzimu undoubtedly moving through him, his guitar, and his songs, where greatness is – so is he.

AMABEYOND is a force, to say the least. She leaves every audience in an elevated state of vulnerability, pure love, and healing, through the greatness of her timeless and irrefutably excellent music.

Numerous notable and beloved Zimbabwean artists graced the ZARTS launch Saturday night, many of who will be present, and in full force for two electrifying night in December. Such artists include Dhadza D, Queen Mashie, Ba Shupi, Chikwata 263, Xtra Large, Trevor Dongo, and more!

Bumbris Entertainment exuded a heart for all Zimbabwean art on all levels, promising an unforgettable weekend of connection, ascension, joy, unity, and celebration through Art of all forms, including, sculpture, graphic design, martial arts, alternative genres of music such as opera, rock, traditional music, Zim-dance hall, R & B, afro pop, Muringa, and rap – all 100% Zimbabwean.

Should the festival be anything like the launch, surely it will be richly diverse, all-consuming, and a wild, epic ride for the depths of the audience’s emotions, for there will be Art – true, moving, loving, profoundly correcting – #Art. #ZimbabweanArt
